A bit of back ground on Ken: Even as a kid I was always interested in anything with wheels on. The first thing that I drove was a grey Ferguson tractor when I was 6 or 7 years old. Living in the country allowed me to buy cars from scrap yards and drive them around the fields. When I was 17, I bought and sold a few cheap cars from auctions, and before long bought an XK 120 for £60.00, I did some work to it and later sold it for £135.00, a lot of money in those days. This funded the purchase of an XK 140 FHC for £95.00 which I did keep for a few years.
