Established by Mike Taylor over 20 years ago, Lotusbits is very much an enthusiast run, independent Lotus classic car specialist with a passion for the 900 engine “Wedges”. Lotusbits have quite probably the largest selection of second hand Excel, Eclat, Elite parts available anywhere in the world. Body parts, chassis, engines/gearboxes and even those hard to find trim parts we probably have them somewhere! We also have a comprehensive selection of new parts for the Esprit, Excel, Elite, Eclat, Sunbeam Lotus, Jensen Healey and Elan M100. Due to Mike’s engineering background we provide a wide range of refurbished parts and also design and re-manufacture parts that are no longer available. Many of these parts are tried and tested on our Rally cars. The workshop can help customers with anything from a routine service to a full restomod. Lotusbits also have a full time engine builder onsite, rebuilding engines from standard specification, 2.5 LB stroker engine for road use to full race going engines.
