Back in 2016, four years before we became Bonhams|Cars Online, we were the UK’s first ever online auction platform for classic and collectible cars. We were born of a realisation that a combination of digital technology - and the best and most truthful professional photography and written descriptions - could create an experience that puts more and better information than ever before in front of buyers and sellers alike. Then, we traded as The Market, until we were acquired by Bonhams in 2020. Well, now we’ve come full circle. Having completed a management buy-out, we are now once again THE MARKET. Our ambition is to build on everything we’ve learned from Bonhams and add it to the agility and responsiveness that made us such a success in the first place. We want to raise the bar for the entire classic and collectible car online auction industry.
